Gotta Find The Humor In It. . .

Quotes from my moms lips that brought laughter into an otherwise serious situation.

While reading the results of her CT Scan my mom looks at my dad and says "Hey, they say my uterus is unremarkable!"

Mom, "I will probably be the only person who gets this surgery and doesn't loose weight!"

Mom, "I saw a tombstone today that read, "I told you I was sick!"

Mom, "Well, I have looked into gastric bypass and I guess this means I will be getting one after all. Whether I want it or not!"

Mom, "I wonder what I will look like bald?" Wendy, "Well, atleast your hair doesn't have much more to go."

If you wish, enjoy some background music.

Needle Pokes

Are we serious? Yes we are! Finding humor in this situation is what will help get us through the rough patches. So, as my mom looked at her bruised arms (she bruises easily because of medications) she decided it would be interesting and somewhat humorus, to tally every time she gets a needle prick throughout her treatment.

Pokes to date: 30!
